Duties and Responsibilities at Flydubai

Your main responsibilities in this role include the following:

• Complete a pattern of intense tracing in advance of moving a file to settlement to ensure full search has been completed.

• Assist in the development of monthly reports, and coordinate their production and distribution.

• Support and assist the Supervisor with completion of files required for final settlement once bags is considered lost, ensuring the customer provides all the required data.

• Manage interaction with passengers in person, via email or telephone supporting the customer through the claim or re-patriation process.

• Ensure that full records are maintained, and that all data bases are updated with appropriate details.

• Work closely with finance in ensuring the efficient flow of accounting and financial information when a claim is being processed.

• Responsible for baggage claim file construction and inclusion of all required documents.

• Support DXB Baggage services department as required.

• Act as a liaison with network outstations in completion of lost and damaged files.

Job Requirements

• Current GCAA CAR 66 AMEL preferably with ratings on 737NG and CFM56-7B or Aeronautical Engineering Degree.

• At least 5 years’ experience in a certification or management role associated with heavy maintenance. Relevant experience with control of maintenance tasks using approved documents and MRO systems such as AMOS.

• Broad knowledge and experience in the use of IT systems including Microsoft Suite and MRO Systems.
